Sigh.

Before midnight, a sprinkler system burst in our condo building. Three homes were evacuated and the fire alarm went off for a while. We were told to pack a bag just in case. Then we were told it was safe to stay.

Now it is 330am and the fire alarm has been going off again since 240am.

We are fine, but CHAPTER FOURTEEN of SURRENDER ON THE TRAIL is on pause. It’s ironic because the Steam Team is about to deal with their own water issues.
